■ How to use Epoxy adhesive
Bond terms
- Working time : It is the time that a mixture is able to coat after two liquid stirring a mixture.
(Usually the initial viscosity will be double times or nearly 60% of peak heating time.)
- Setting time : It is the time that bond strength and physical properties(tensile, compression, hardness, etc.) are almost stable.
- Tensile strength : It is result of maximum load divided by the area, when the applied adhesive things then test for tensile strength.
- Thixotropy : It is gel in the stationary status. Only it turns to liquidity as application of agitation or vibration. After leaving it, it turn back to the gel status.
